7/3 Club Event: Muskego Lakes; Format, Teams, Pairings, Payouts, etc...

Muskego Lakes Players,

Here’s the Event Information Page (85% of handicaps will be used for this FOUR-MAN team event and handicaps will be refreshed after the 6/30 handicap revision)

• TEES: All players should play from the WHITE tees. All scores will be entered into BlueGolf from the WHITE tees as T-Scores
• TEAMS: If this is a team event then any team consisting of less than the number of requisite golfers will have it's team filled out via a blind draw in the club house after the partial team gets to the clubhouse. 
• EVENT FORMAT: Irish 4-Ball (NET). A team consists of four golfers. A team's score is comprised of adding all the net scores up in the list below. 
• Holes 1-5: 1 lowest net stroke play score on each hole
• Holes 6-10: 2 lowest net stroke play scores on each hole
• Holes 11-15: 3 lowest net stroke play scores on each hole
• Holes 16-18: all 4 net stroke play scores on each hole
• EVENT PAYOUT: Top three teams paid: $100, $60 and $40 (split by all four team members)
• OPTIONAL EVENT: Skins (GROSS) - Must be a birdie or better to win. $5 per player. Skins envelope will be at cash register before your round, please pay your $5 and check your name off prior to teeing off on the #1 tee. 
• SCORE CARDS: Record gross scores and sign card. Hand in to tournament director (Jeff) immediately upon returning to clubhouse. Scores will be entered via BlueGolf and will be posted to the WSGA handicap system as T-Scores.

• TEES: This is a club-wide event and all team members will play from the SILVER tees and all scores will be entered into BlueGolf as T-Scores.
• EVENT FORMAT: Individual Stroke Play (flighted) - NET. Two flights (field cut in half): 'A Flight' (lower handicaps) and 'B Flight' (higher handicaps).
• EVENT PAYOUT: Paying out four lowest net scores in each flight: $40, $30, $20 and $10
• OPTIONAL EVENT: Skins (GROSS) - Must be a birdie or better to win. $5 per player. NO FLIGHTS FOR SKINS (playing gross against entire field). Skins envelope will be at cash register before your round, please pay your $5 and check your name off prior to teeing off on the #1 tee. 
• SCORE CARDS: Record gross scores and sign card. Hand in to tournament director (Jeff) immediately upon returning to clubhouse. Scores will be entered via BlueGolf and will be posted to the WSGA handicap system as T-Scores.

6/25 Club Event: Whispering Springs - Format, Pairings, Payouts, Etc...

Whispering Springs Players,

• Tees: This is a club event so everyone will play from the WHITE tees.
• Event Format: Individual Modified Stableford Scoring. Double Eagle (or better): +8, Eagle: +5, Birdie: +2, Par: 0, Bogey: -1 and Double Bogey (or worse): -3.
• This is a FULL FIELD singles event (no flights, no teams…every man for himself!)
• Event Payout: $50. $40, $30, $25, $20, $15, $10
• Optional Event: Skins (GROSS). Must be a birdie or better and there are no carry overs. $5 per player to enter. Skins envelope will be at cash register before your round, please pay your $5 and check your name off prior to teeing off on the #1 tee.
• Score Card Handling: One score card per pairing, with handicap dots, will be provided. Record gross scores, sign card and hand into tournament director (Jeff) immediately upon arriving to the clubhouse after your round. Scores will be posted to the WSGA handicap system as T-scores for this event.

First Team at Currie Results

Guys,

I first wanted to say thanks again for playing at Currie National this past Saturday on a sunny, beautiful day.  We ended up with 92 points, which was in 3rd place in the Match, behind Whitnall who finished 1st with 101 and Oakwood was 2nd at 97 points.

Scott Brandt  led our team with 18 points and I got 17 points.

Our 4th Match of the year is Sunday - July 17th at Greenfield. The tee times are again between 6:30 am and 8:38 am. We are currently in 4th Place, but only 16 points behind Brown Deer for 3rd Place and 28 points behind Whitnall for 2nd place.

I want to put a strong team out at Greenfield, so please let me know if you can play.

Maplecrest Club Event (6/12): Format, Teams, Pairings, Payouts, etc...

Maplecrest Players,

We currently have 29 players for Sunday’s Club Event at Maplecrest. The format is 2Man BestBall (Net), if the headcount stays the same we’ll have one team needing to play in separate pairings (this happens to be team Camosy/Cristan) and one individual needing to chose a partner after the event via a blind draw (currently this is Pete Lapp). Adjustments will be made if one of the two remaining spots is filled before the weekend.

• OPTIONAL EVENT: Skins (GROSS) - Must be a birdie or better to win. $5 per player. Skins envelope will be at cash register or 1st hole before your round, please pay your $5 and check your name off prior to teeing off on the first hole..

First Team at Dretzka Results

Guys,

I first wanted to say thanks again for playing at Dretzka this past Sunday and battling the gusty winds! We finished 5th with 74 points.  After 2 matches we are now in 4th Place in the Standings.

Mark Music led our team with 17 points and he also shot 79. Steve Wolter also shot 79 and got 12 points. Nice job guys!

I will sending out another email this week, confirming you can play on Saturday - June 18th at Currie if you have already committed that you were available to play.

Currie Second Team Wins Greenfield Event, Widens Season Lead

The Currie Second Team won the second event of the season at Greenfield on June 4, taking 244 points to runner up  Brown Deer's 234. Whitnall was 3^rd with 217, and Grant 4^th with 198.  We also won the first event last month at Dretzka, and our season lead is a solid 70 points over Brown Deer with 3 rounds to go.  

Big point winners on the day were Steve Jaeger and Jeff “I got an Eagle” Camosy with 24 each, and Rich Saks, Darrell Frenzel, and Jack Bruss with 20 apiece.  Pete Lapp chipped in with 19.  A full fourteen of our 16 guys managed 12 or more points.  

Our medalist was Steve Jaeger with 78.  Phil Levin shot 79, Saks 80, Bruss and Dave Ullenberg 81, and Gerry McGrath and Jeff  “I got an Eagle” Camosy 82.  Jeff’s Eagle was on 18 where he knocked a 3 wood into the hole.  You'll hear about it again for sure, as he will no doubt be mentioning it to anyone within earshot for a long time to come.
