8/5 Club Event & 8/12-8/13 Club Championship - REGISTRATION DEADLINE APPROACHING!
Currie Men,
7/31 (at 9am) is the registration deadline for two
club events.
- 8/5 Club Event at West Bend Lakes
- 8/12 & 8/13 Two Day Currie Club Championship (our premier event of the season at our home course, Currie, “The National”)
The registration deadline for the Club Championship is two
weeks preceding the event due to the amount of setup/organizing required.

Second Team Results at Greenfield 7/22/17
Gentlemen –
Well, it was a bad day for the Currie Second Team out at Greenfield today. We managed just 168 points, which ties our low for the 9 years for which I have records. The other 168 point total also occurred at Greenfield, way back in 2010. We finished in 6th place today, a whopping 83 points behind Brown Deer, who takes over first place from us for the season. Going into the final match on August 20 at Brown Deer, we find ourselves 29 points behind them. Whitnall is in third place, 31 points behind us.
Three of our players did get over 20 points today, Jardo and Gary Zwirlein with 24 each and Brian Pederson with 22. Ken Collins was our medalist with 75, and Steve Jaeger shot 79. None of our guys won a skin, nor a flag event.
So, to sum it up, we’ll just have to call it an off day for the reigning champs, and we’ll plan to come back strong in the final at Brown Deer, overtaking them on the last day as we did a few years ago.
Thanks to Director Pederson for his usual good work at the event, thanks to the Greenfield staff for having the course in great condition, and special thanks to Mike O’Neil for coming out and assisting the Greenfield Pro with getting the scoring done quickly and efficiently.
