In spite of the fact that Hartford got over an inch of rain on Friday night, the golf course and particularly the greens were in pretty nice shape. Because of the restrictions on carts there were of number of participants that had to withdraw from the event. As a result, what was originally going to be a flighted event was changed to a full field competition.
Bill Zolandz dominated the "dojo" with a total of 43 stableford points and a net score of 65. Way to go Bill!! Doug Schafer also had a nice performance with 40 points followed by Scott Brandt at 38. Honor scores were turned in by Chuck Silkey with a 74, John Dobroski and Mike O'Neil with 77's and Scott Brandt with a 79. $30 skins were won by Levin, Dobroski, Silkey and Fenzl.
Event Payouts: 1st, $60 Bill Zolandz, 2nd, Doug Schafer $50, 3rd, Scott Brandt $40, T4th, Mark Schreindl, Brian Pederson and John Hirsch $22ea. T7th, Phil Levin, Steve Jaeger $5ea.
